2009/10 Junior Curling Program

Curling is an Olympic sport which dates back about 500 years. It is one of the fastest growing sports in Canada and is easy to learn. A great team sport that provides solid physical exercise as well as exciting strategy.

CURL GF invites you to register for the 2009-10 season

~ the 100th year of curling in Grand Forks ~

• Ages 8-18
• Instruction & equipment will be provided.
• 14 weekly sessions beginning October 15.
• Thursday afternoons from 4:00 - 5:30.
• Only $60.00 for the season. (If more than 3 children in a family maximum $180.00.)

• The ice will be in on September 30th. Not that far away!

• October 1 - 4 - Instruction clinics and open practice times

• Leagues will start the week of October 5th - 9th

• Curl BC Coaching Course - Grand Forks is hosting a Competition Coach course on October 24-5/09. You must register for this course online through Curl BC by credit card or mailed in cheque to Curl BC. Registration deadline is October 16/09. Registration fee is $165.00. This is open to all in Region 1 and beyond.

• The Grand Forks Curling Club has been awarded the 2010 BC Men's and Women's Masters Championships. This will be held March 4 -7. Plan to attend.
